Privacy Policy

Definitions:

Personably Identifiable Information - Any information that is unique and traceable to any one individual. For example, full name, phone number, e-mail address, mailing address, etc. This also includes sensitive personal information, such as medical history, that Shaver MultiSport may collect in order to provide you with our services.

Non-Personably Identifiable Information - Information that does not uniquely identify any one individual. For example, first name, sex, age.

Privacy Policy - Personably Identifiable Information:

Shaver MultiSport (SMS) will not give any Personably Identifiable Information (PII) to any outside entity or person except under the circumstances listed below without prior written approval from that individual. Period. Shaver MultiSport values your privacy - more so than most companies that promise to "protect" your privacy but in reality have a policy of "we will keep your information confidential unless we think we can make money off of it."

If you are a client of SMS, SMS will use your PII to contact you regarding your training and other issues regarding our on-going business relationship.

If you were a client and have since terminated your coaching agreement, SMS will not contact you again for any reason, except as listed below, until you either re-contact SMS or give us your permission to contact you periodically. If you have given SMS permission to contact you, you may revoke that permission at any time by contacting us and stating that you no longer wish to be contacted.

If you are not a client of SMS, but have contacted us about our services, SMS will use your PII to answer your questions and explain our business services. If you tell us that you are no longer interested in our services, SMS will not contact you again for any reason, except as listed below, until you initiate another contact with SMS or give us your permission to contact you periodically. If you have given SMS permission to contact you, you may revoke that permission at any time by contacting us and stating that you no longer wish to be contacted.

Privacy Policy - Non-Personably Identifiable Information:

SMS may use Non-Personably Identifiable Information (non-PII) for purposes including, but not limited to:

• Advertising
• Discussions with potential clients and other current clients
• With USA Triathlon for continuing coaching certification

SMS will never use your real first name in any advertising without your prior approval. We may use such statistics as "we have three males and two females in our current client base", "we are coaching two individuals under the age of 25."

Exceptions:

Shaver MultiSport may disclose any or all PII to the following groups under the following conditions:

• SMS will share clients' PII amongst its employees as necessary to provide services to you under a current or pending coaching contract
• With any 3rd party to which you have given SMS your prior approval, and then only such information as you have approved. For example, you wish to coordinate training sessions with another SMS client. SMS will share the e-mail address and/or telephone numbers with the other client - provided that SMS has both clients' prior approval. Approval may be given verbally or in writing. If the approval is given verbally, SMS, at its discretion, may follow up with an e-mail or written confirmation of the approval.
• When required by USA Triathlon for purposes related to the coaching service and the coaching certification process
• When required by the company providing insurance for USA Triathlon (and SMS) for purposes of resolving claims or other issues related to the coaching service
• Any other circumstances where Shaver MultiSport is required by law to share such information (including but not limited to medical emergencies and accidents)

If SMS is required to share any PII due to any of the above circumstances, we will make a reasonable attempt to contact each individual whose PII was disclosed. SMS will make this attempt as soon as we are able to after learning that we must make such a disclosure, if we are allowed by law to inform that individual. Not to be too paranoid, but you just never know when the Government may restrict such notification in the name of "national security."
